Salvage Yard Bar and Grill Reviews
We've been here several times, always a good experience! We used our ##pizzapassport. First time ordering a Chicken Alfredo Pizza. It's very good. The service is always friendly and quick. There are tvs, but they aren't too loud to enjoy a conversation. The salads are huge, so split one! We'll be back!
In from out of town, found them on rec from Reddit, excellent pizza great drinks, zero complaints. Service was personal and lovely, the place is modern and comfortable. PRO tip get the BOB
Got the following Garlic cheese bread B.o.b pizza hamburger bacon Garlic cheese bread was on point Pizza was great besides one thing I could tell they prep there toppings other than that great food great dining area
Thus place in on South Hampton. It's normal a huge place but big enough. We had tried the St. Louis Style before even though they're known for Chicago style. It was good, but it didn't compare to the Chicago style. We actually got BOB style which is Chicago style mixed with St. Louis Style. We loved it. The service was fast and friendly. Do it!!
I am not a St. Lous native. As a result I don't love Imo's style pizza, but instead I've always been a fan of deep dish pizza. For me the thicker the better, I want layers of cheese and toppings. I saw Salvage Yard pop up on a couple lists with good deep dish pizza so decided to check it out. The place isn't that large, it is on the smaller side, but it was serviceable. There is bar seating then a dozen or so tables. The staff was attentive and struck the right balance between checking enough but not being bothersome. I had lunch here with co-workers. We ordered a couple pizzas, appetizers, and some of my colleagues got salads and calzones. The deep dish pizza was decent, not quite as deep as I'd have liked. It was still light years better than thin crust. The general consensus was the rest of the food was fine. nothing particularly outstanding but nothing was bad. The prices were reasonable, and there is a nice happy hour during the week from 2-5. Overall this is a nice neighborhood bar and grill, and a good place to check out if you like pizza in particular.
